By ShortFast Editorial Team ·
The cheapest AI shorts generator that auto-posts, by sticker price, is EasyViral at $9 a month, but its credits cover only about 4 one-minute videos. Per video, the cheapest option depends on what the video is made of: for stock-footage or illustrated shorts ShortFast's $19 plan works out lowest at about 23 to 48 cents a video by our typical figures, and for animated AI video Revid's $39 plan and EasyViral come out ahead.
Every tool below generates a new video on a schedule and publishes it for you to at least TikTok and YouTube. A tool that only exports a file is not in the list, however cheap.
How we compared
We read each vendor's own pricing page on October 22, 2026 and took the cheapest plan that both generates and auto-posts, at the monthly list price billed monthly. Limited-time discounts and coupon prices are left out, because they change within days. Cost per video is our arithmetic from each vendor's own figures, and we show the inputs so you can redo it. ShortFast is our product; its figures are typical costs from real videos in October 2026, and it is held to the same format as the rest.

"About per video" is our arithmetic: plan price divided by the videos the plan covers, using each vendor's own credit costs or posting cadence. ShortFast's figures use its typical October 2026 costs of about 12 credits per stock-footage video, 25 per AI art-style video and 464 per fully animated video. BigMotion is left out because it no longer shows prices to visitors.

EasyViral is the lowest monthly price at $9, for 1,750 credits. Its FAQ prices a 60-second video at 400 credits and a 30-second one at 250, so that is about 4 one-minute or 7 thirty-second videos a month. It posts to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, includes voice cloning, and refunds in full within 14 days if you have not used any credits.
Shortspilot's Pilot plan is $18 a month for one series that posts to YouTube Shorts and TikTok. Its FAQ lists three posts a week, about 13 videos a month. TikTok is not hands-free: you confirm each upload from an email. It has no Instagram and no refunds.
ShortFast's Starter is $19 a month for 1,000 credits, one automation and one social account, posting to TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. A typical stock-footage video uses about 12 credits and an AI art-style video about 25, so Starter covers about 80 or 40 of them. A fully animated video uses about 464 credits, so only about 2.
AutoShorts' Starter is $19 a month for one series that posts three times a week, about 13 videos, to one TikTok, YouTube and Instagram channel, with 27 motion credits to animate its AI images. Its free plan is paused and it does not refund.
FlowShorts' Starter is $19 a month for 2 videos a week, which FlowShorts itself prices at $2.38 a video. Its first video is free without a card.
PassiveShorts' Basic is $19 a month per series, for 12 videos posted three times a week to one TikTok and one YouTube channel. Each extra series costs the same again, and it has no Instagram. It refunds the unused share automatically within 7 days of your first payment.
Faceless.video's Starter is $20 a month for 30 credits, which it describes as up to 15 videos, on one connected account. Unused credits roll over while you stay subscribed.
ShortsBot's Basic is $24.99 a month for 12 videos on one series and one account, posting to TikTok and YouTube Shorts only, with a 14-day money-back guarantee.
Faceless.so's Starter is $29 a month for 500 credits: about 25 one-minute storyboard shorts at 20 credits, or about 8 thirty-second motion shorts at 60. It posts to seven platforms, including X, LinkedIn and Threads, with unlimited series. It has no free trial, and plan credits stopped rolling over on October 2, 2026.
Revid's cheapest plan that publishes is Growth at $39 a month; its $39 Hobby plan does not publish. Growth includes 2,000 credits, which Revid says covers roughly 25 to 50 thirty-second videos with moving images, plus three always-on Auto-Mode workers.
Cheapest per video depends on the video
Sticker price and cost per video point in different directions. EasyViral's $9 buys the fewest videos in the list, at about $2.25 per one-minute video. FlowShorts states $2.38 a video on its own Starter card, and ShortsBot works out at about $2.08.
For stock-footage and illustrated shorts, ShortFast is the lowest we found: $19 for about 80 typical stock-footage videos is about 23 cents each, and about 48 cents for an AI art-style video. For animated AI video it is the opposite. A fully animated ShortFast video uses about 464 credits, about $9.50 on Starter, while Revid's own example puts a 30-second moving-image video at 40 to 80 credits, roughly $0.78 to $1.56 on Growth, and EasyViral's animated one-minute video is about $2.25.
So decide what your channel looks like first. A documentary, history or explainer channel built on footage or drawings is cheapest on ShortFast. A channel of fully animated AI scenes is cheaper on Revid, EasyViral or Faceless.so's storyboard format.

Yearly billing changes the order a little. EasyViral is $7.20 a month billed yearly ($86.40), ShortsBot's yearly plan is $119.99, Shortspilot and Faceless.video are $168 a year, ShortFast $180, AutoShorts, FlowShorts and PassiveShorts $190, Faceless.so $290 and Revid $384. Paying a year up front only makes sense once a month or two of the monthly plan has shown the videos work for your niche, because most of these tools do not refund a used plan.
Costs that are not on the price card
Renewal prices. BigMotion no longer has a public pricing page; its checkout code shows first-month prices that renew at about double, $19 to $39, $39 to $89 and $79 to $179, and its terms convert a trial unless you cancel 72 hours before it ends. We left it out of the table because the prices are not shown to visitors.
Per-series multipliers. PassiveShorts and AutoShorts price one series at a time. A second channel or niche is a second series at the full price, and AutoShorts allows only one plan type per account.
Manual steps. Shortspilot asks you to confirm every TikTok upload from an email. Faceless.so may drop TikTok posts into drafts for some accounts. A tool that needs a daily click is cheaper in money than in time.
Credits that expire. ShortFast and Faceless.so reset plan credits each month; Faceless.video rolls them over while you stay subscribed; EasyViral's and Faceless.so's bought top-up credits never expire.
Refunds. EasyViral, PassiveShorts and ShortsBot offer some refund; AutoShorts, Shortspilot, FlowShorts and Faceless.so effectively do not once you have generated. ShortFast's monthly plans start with a 3-day trial for $1 and refunds are at its discretion.
Which one to pick
The absolute lowest monthly bill: EasyViral at $9, if 4 one-minute videos a month is enough.
The most videos for $19: ShortFast, for stock-footage or illustrated videos posted to TikTok, Reels and Shorts.
Cheapest fully animated AI videos: Revid's Growth plan, or EasyViral if you need fewer.
Posting beyond TikTok, Instagram and YouTube: Faceless.so lists seven platforms, including X, LinkedIn and Threads, from $29.
Lowest risk to try: PassiveShorts and EasyViral, both of which refund unused allowance within days, or ShortFast's $1 trial.
Whatever you pick, keep it monetizable. YouTube's July 2025 update calls mass-produced, repetitive uploads inauthentic content and keeps them out of the Partner Program, and TikTok does not recommend unoriginal content. The cheapest video is the one that does not get your channel demonetized: use original scripts, vary the topics and review the first batch before you let any tool post on its own.
FAQ
Common questions
- What is the cheapest AI shorts generator with auto-posting?
- By monthly price, EasyViral at $9, which covers about 4 one-minute videos. By cost per video, ShortFast's $19 Starter is lowest for stock-footage and illustrated shorts, at about 80 or 40 videos a month by typical costs, and Revid's $39 Growth plan is among the cheapest for animated AI video. Prices checked on October 22, 2026.
- Is there a free AI shorts generator that auto-posts?
- Not a lasting one among the tools we checked. Several let you try a first video or a few credits free (FlowShorts, Shortspilot, ShortsBot, Revid), and AutoShorts' free plan is paused. Auto-posting itself sits on paid plans. ShortFast offers a 3-day trial for $1.
- Which cheap auto-posters include Instagram Reels?
- EasyViral, ShortFast, AutoShorts, FlowShorts, Faceless.video, Faceless.so and Revid post to Instagram. Shortspilot, PassiveShorts and ShortsBot post only to TikTok and YouTube. Instagram publishing needs a Business or Creator account whichever tool you use.
- Why do the per-video costs vary so much?
- Because what the video is made of drives the cost. Stock footage and still AI images are cheap to make; fully animated AI video uses far more compute. ShortFast's typical cost ranges from about 12 credits for a stock-footage video to about 464 for a fully animated one, and other tools charge more for their premium video models in the same way.
- Should I pay yearly to save money?
- Only after a month or two on the monthly plan. Yearly billing saves 20% to 30% on most of these tools, but most do not refund a plan once you have generated videos, so confirm the videos work for your niche first.
