Press AI edit on any faceless ShortFast video and it adds motion design picked for that video: big hook words, counters and charts, maps with pins and labels, the subject cut out and popped forward, punch-ins and transitions, all timed to the narration. Steer it with a one-line prompt, run it again for a new take, or remove it. It adds no sound effects and generates no new footage.
What you get
Big hook words, counters and charts that land as the narrator says them
Maps with pins and labels for the places the script names
The subject cut out and popped forward from the background
Punch-ins and transitions chosen for each moment
A one-line prompt to steer it, such as 'calm documentary: no stickers, slower cuts'
Add it, run it again or remove it, on any faceless video in any style
AI edit plans an edit for the video in front of it. It follows what the narrator says and when, and times every element to the voice: a hook word lands on the word, a number counts up while it's spoken, a map zooms in when the script names the place.
What it can add: big hook words, counters and charts for the numbers in the script, maps with pins and labels, the subject cut out and popped forward from the background, and punch-ins and transitions chosen for each moment. Which of them a video gets depends on what it says: a list of facts gets numbers and titles, a story gets its dates, places and turning points.
It works on faceless videos in every style: Documentary and Mixed footage, the still AI-image looks, and animated videos. It edits the scenes you already have and generates no new footage, so your scenes keep their own pictures and clips.
Each pair is the same video twice: the same script, voice and scenes. The first plays it as ShortFast made it, the second with AI edit on.
Documentary, five ocean facts that sound fake: each fact opens with its own numbered title, the numbers count up as they're said, and a map zooms from the whole world down to the Mariana Trench.
Dark Mystery, the Hollow Creek night train: the story's date types on like a stamp, a clock counts up to 3:07, labels point at the frozen clock and the last log entry, and LOOK BACK lands huge over the logbook.
Cartoon Explainer, the lighthouse keeper's daughter: 96 steps and 11 hours count up, the one light left on the coast is circled, and the ships count up to 38 with a check when they're safe.
Mixed, 'Your day 90': QUIT fills the screen behind him, a day counter climbs into a 30–60–90 timeline, and a growth chart draws flat, then shoots up.
Without a prompt, AI edit picks the edit from the content. Add one line and it follows it. The ocean-facts video, edited again with 'calm documentary: no stickers, slower cuts', came out calmer: photo cards instead of stickers, and fewer graphics (15 instead of 19).
Run it again for a different take, or remove it and the video goes back to how it was.
They do different things. The Animated style turns each scene into an AI video clip, so the pictures themselves move, at about 440 credits a minute. AI edit generates no new footage: it adds motion design over the scenes you have, whichever style made them, animated ones included.
It adds no sound effects: the video keeps the voice and the music, and nothing else.
It doesn't change the narration. It edits around what's said, and changing what the narrator says means generating the video again.
It doesn't replace your scenes' pictures or clips. To change one, swap it in the editor, with another clip or one you upload.
