MakeUGC is a UGC ad maker: AI actors who hold your product, lip-sync in 50+ languages and custom avatars. ShortFast makes UGC-style and faceless videos for your own accounts and posts them to TikTok, Reels and Shorts every day.
MakeUGC and ShortFast both put an AI person on screen talking about a product, but they are built for different jobs. MakeUGC is an ad studio: pick from hundreds of AI actors, have them hold your product, lip-sync in more than 50 languages, clone a voice or build a custom avatar, then export the ad. ShortFast is an organic channel engine: UGC-style videos with a lip-synced AI presenter and faceless videos in 27 styles, published to your own accounts on a schedule.
MakeUGC is the better pick if you make paid UGC ads, need an actor physically holding your product, want ads in many languages, or want a custom avatar of a real (consenting) creator. ShortFast is the better pick if you want to grow organic TikTok, Instagram and YouTube accounts, want faceless videos and UGC-style videos on one plan, or want everything posted for you from $19 a month.

MakeUGC is built for ad creative. Its actors hold your product and can be directed with motion control, they lip-sync in more than 50 languages, and Growth and Pro add custom avatars made from a short clip plus a cloned voice. Its custom-avatar policy requires that any likeness is licensed or used with signed consent, and it prohibits presenting AI avatars as real people. Output goes up to 4K on Growth and Pro; Starter exports at 480p or 720p.
ShortFast is built for accounts that post every day. Its UGC-style videos use a lip-synced AI presenter, one of 5 or a portrait you upload, and the same plan makes faceless videos in 27 styles. You set a theme and a schedule, and it writes, renders and posts each video to TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. It does not put a product in the presenter's hand, so for ads that need the product on camera MakeUGC is the stronger tool.
Billed monthly, MakeUGC is $59 for Starter, $79 for Growth and $149 for Pro; its pricing page leads with annual prices of $29, $39 and $79 a month, and quarterly billing sits in between. It does not publish credits per video. Its trial costs $1 and converts to the chosen plan automatically, and refunds are discretionary, requested within 3 business days of the charge and scaled to the credits used.
ShortFast is $19, $39 or $99 a month, with 20% off yearly and a $1 three-day trial. A UGC-style video with an AI presenter typically uses about 260 credits, so Starter suits testing the format and Pro or Advanced suits posting UGC-style videos regularly; faceless videos cost far less, about 12 to 25 credits each.
Whichever you use, label AI people. TikTok and YouTube require disclosure of realistic AI-generated content, and in the US the FTC's rule bans testimonials from people who do not exist. An AI actor can demonstrate a product; it should never pose as a customer.
