ShortFast vs Fliki

Fliki turns text, blog posts and slides into videos with one of 2,000+ voices in 80+ languages, and has a free plan. ShortFast is narrower: it makes a faceless short from a topic in one of 27 styles and posts one every day to TikTok, Reels and Shorts.

Short version

Fliki and ShortFast overlap on the core trick: type a topic or paste a script and get a narrated video with visuals, music and subtitles. They are built for different jobs around it. Fliki is a creation suite: blog posts, slide decks and tweets to video, 2,000+ voices in 80+ languages, voice cloning, a digital twin of yourself and videos up to 40 minutes. ShortFast is a short-form channel engine: one of 27 visual styles per channel, and a new video posted to TikTok, Reels and Shorts every day without you opening the app.

Fliki is the better pick if you need another language, your own cloned voice, an avatar or digital twin, long videos, or a free plan to start with. ShortFast is the better pick if you want a faceless channel that posts itself on a schedule, a fixed illustrated look such as stick figures or claymation, UGC-style videos with AI actors, or API access from the entry plan rather than the $88 tier.

Price follows the same split. Fliki's Standard plan is $28 a month for 180 credits and its API sits on Premium at $88. ShortFast starts at $19 for 1,000 credits, with a typical stock-footage short using about 12 of them. Fliki's credits are cheap per minute for stock-footage videos too, so for long-form or multilingual work its pricing can come out ahead.

  • You want one consistent look per channel from 27 styles, such as stick figures, anime, claymation or documentary footage
  • You want UGC-style product videos with AI actors
  • You run several accounts, each with its own schedule

  • You need voiceovers in one of 80+ languages, or to translate a video
  • You want to clone your voice or use an AI avatar or digital twin of yourself
  • You make long videos, up to 15 minutes on Standard and 40 on Premium
  • You turn blog posts, slide decks or tweets into videos

ShortFast video counts are typical, not limits: about 12 credits for a stock-footage video, 25 for an AI art-style video and 464 for a fully animated one (October 2026 averages). Only credits are enforced.

Series on Fliki, automations on ShortFast

Both tools have a way to stop making videos one by one. Fliki's Series takes a topic, a style and a posting schedule, plans the next videos and writes their scripts, so they are ready when you need them. Fliki then publishes with one click to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, up to 50 times a month on Standard and 120 on Premium. Its pages do not say that a series posts on its own without that click, so plan on a short daily check.

A ShortFast automation goes one step further: it writes, renders and publishes the new video to your connected accounts at the time you set, every day, twice a day or a few times a week, and emails you if you prefer to download instead. Pro allows up to three posts a day per automation and three automations. That is the part of the job ShortFast is built around, and the reason it does less elsewhere.

Where Fliki is clearly stronger

Language and voice. Fliki lists 2,000+ voices in more than 80 languages and dialects, voice cloning on paid plans, and translation of a finished video. If your channel is in Arabic, Hindi, Indonesian or Portuguese, or you want your own voice on every video, Fliki covers it today and ShortFast's 40+ narration voices do not.

Range of inputs and lengths. Fliki turns blog posts, slide decks, tweets and product pages into videos, and exports up to 15 minutes on Standard and 40 on Premium. It also has AI avatars and a digital twin that presents in your face and voice. ShortFast is short-form first, with long videos only on the Advanced plan, and its people on screen are AI actors for UGC-style videos rather than a twin of you.

A free way in. Fliki's free plan gives 3 credits a month with 720p export and a watermark, enough to judge the output. ShortFast has no free plan; its monthly plans start with a 3-day trial for $1.

What the credits buy

Fliki's own estimator on its pricing page shows about 0.5 credits per minute for a video built from uploads or stock footage, with AI video clips and avatars costing more. Standard's 180 credits a month therefore go a long way for stock-based videos, and less far once AI video models are in every scene. Fliki's published prices were Standard $28 and Premium $88 a month on October 22, 2026, with a discount for yearly billing.

ShortFast's credits work the same way: the visual type sets the cost. Typical October 2026 costs were about 12 credits for a stock-footage documentary short, 25 for an AI-image art style, and 464 for a fully animated video. Starter's 1,000 credits a month cover roughly 83 stock-footage shorts or 40 illustrated ones. If you mainly want daily stock-footage or illustrated shorts posted for you, ShortFast costs less; if you want long, multilingual or avatar videos, Fliki does more for the money.

FAQ

Common questions

Is ShortFast a Fliki alternative?
For short-form faceless channels, yes. Both turn a topic or script into a narrated video. ShortFast adds automatic daily posting to TikTok, Reels and Shorts, 27 fixed visual styles and AI actors. Fliki is the better choice for other languages, voice cloning, avatars, long videos and converting blog posts or slides into video.
Does Fliki auto-post to TikTok and YouTube?
Fliki offers one-click publishing to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, with 50 publications a month on Standard and 120 on Premium, and its Series feature prepares upcoming videos on your schedule. Its pages, read on October 22, 2026, do not say that a series publishes without that click. ShortFast's automations generate and post on the schedule you set.
Which is cheaper, Fliki or ShortFast?
ShortFast starts lower, at $19 a month against Fliki's $28 Standard, and includes API access that Fliki keeps for its $88 Premium plan. Fliki has a free plan; ShortFast has a $1 three-day trial instead. For long or multilingual videos Fliki's credits stretch further.
Can ShortFast make videos in other languages like Fliki?
ShortFast offers 40+ narration voices and does not clone voices or translate videos. Fliki lists 2,000+ voices in 80+ languages and translates finished videos. If your audience is not English-speaking, test both before you commit.
